Mareike has reported an additional error in the back office stages on Stoneleigh. Please see below for her report on the issue:
as discussed for Stoneleigh we should have two rejection stages:
For awaiting PDF mail ( 1st stage) it should go to rejected mail in (which it does)
Fly with Stoneleigh(en) | Mr Paul Vincent Heinrich | Mail-In Rejected (mrj) |
For any stage after this, it should be application rejected, however it also goes to mail in rejected
Fly with Stoneleigh(en) | Mrs Kate Foster | Mail-In Rejected (mrj) |
Above application was rejected for dupe and invalid passport.
If we do not differentiate between these two, we won’t be able to know if the application has been rejected due to something wrong with the post or the application itself.
Thanks for looking into this,
Nina
(This is what I've discovered after going through the system code and logic. And it matches with my testing too.)Please could you let me know:[] If this info does not correspond with reality[] If the way it works like this is not useful or relevant for business needs (then I would need to look at altering it and so on).Hope this helps,
If I understand and remember what Mareike explained then yes, your observation is correct.
For reporting purposes and for the efficient tracking of campaign behaviour, we need to know what applications have been rejected for and at what stage. Mail in / Details campaign must have two different names for the rejections at the different stages.
It should be “mail in rejected” at stage one (when the mail in arrives in the post, is checked and fails the check)
And then “application rejected” if the link was completed but the uploads failed the checks
Hope this all makes sense.
Kind regards
Nina
